Teddy Scores "Decoy" for Spanish Director Juan del Río

Director Juan del Río has hired Teddy to score his upcoming bi-lingual short film DECOY. The film is a sci-fi psychological thriller that plays with perception of reality and the human identity. Juan was a selected filmmaker in the PEPSI FILMS search for groundbreaking short films by sensational, up and coming young talent. DECOY is currently in post-production.
"Stitches" and "Less Lost" Make the Festival Circuit Rounds

Since Teddy completed composing on the films STITCHES and LESS LOST, both films have been making their ways around the festival circuit nation wide. STITCHES was the Best Family Short Film Winner at the Illinois International Film Festival, as well as the Audience Award Winner at the Chicago United Film Festival. Meanwhile, LESS LOST was an Official Selection at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival, and the Audience Favorite winner at the Daytona Film Festival. It is also an Official Selection at the upcoming SOHO International Film Festival, the Seattle True Independent Film Festival, the Palm Beach International Film Festival, and the Bare Bones International Film & Music Festival. Be on the lookout for these two wonderful films playing at a festival near you.
Teddy Recruited to the Talented Team of "Stitches"

Director Mike Eisenberg has brought Teddy aboard to score his latest short film, STITCHES, which centers around a 12-year-old boy and his relationship with his grandfather. It stars Steffan Argus and Art Fox (The Beast), and features David Lowenthal, Rachel Sledd, Greg Hollimon (Strangers with Candy). Teddy is currently writing the score, which has a planned release on iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify. The film will start hitting the festival circuit in early June.
Cue Storm Music Featured in Funny or Die Video Starring Sean Astin

Teddy Blass' Cue Storm production music library recently placed a track in a FUNNY OR DIE video starring Sean Astin (LORD OF THE RINGS, THE GOONIES). The spoof trailer is for a fictional movie about cosmetic surgeon Takin Mastuhmik (Astin) and the crazy advancements he has been making in the medical field. The video was featured on the front page of Funny or Die and has received an overall 'Funny' rating.
Teddy Joins the Exciting Crew of "Less Lost"

Teddy will be joining director Chase Conner and his exciting team on the upcoming feature film LESS LOST. He will be reuniting with editor Cristopher Mertens and cinematographer Marco Cordero for the project. A relevant look into the life of a critically injured and medically retired veteran of the Iraq and Afganistan wars, LESS LOST explores the life after war, and the psychological damages it inflicts on our main character, Luke.
"FunMachine" Now Playing on Virgin America Flights

FUNMACHINE, the award-winning short film which Teddy scored earlier this year, is now playing on Virgin America flights via their RED in-flight entertainment system. Filed under Best Of The Web, FunMachine was nominated for Best Comedy, and won the AT&T Rethink Possible Award, as well as the Golden Tripod Award for Best Soundtrack at the CMF International Grand Finale in Los Angeles this past June. Teddy Scores 30-second TV Spot for Florida Hospital

Reuniting once again with the creative minds at Barefoot Empire Films, Teddy recently scored a half-minute commercial for Florida Hospital and their Hospital Church division. This marks Teddy's 2nd collaboration with FLORIDA HOSPITAL, and 4th with Barefoot Empire Films. We hope to bring you video of the finished commercial soon.
Teddy Wins the Golden Tripod Award for Best Soundtrack

After being nominated back in January, Teddy attended the CMF International Grand Finale at the Stephen J. Ross Theatre in Los Angeles, and accepted the Golden Tripod Award for Best Soundtrack for his score to FUNMACHINE. He competed with over 500 films and 5 eventual nominees for the award and honor. He was presented the award by Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights) and Colin Ford (We Bought A Zoo). Teddy will reunite with the writer and co-director of FUNMACHINE for a feature length film titled 15 MINUTES OF FAYE.
